Ultra-luxurious detached house under construction, 389 sq.m. in Kavouri, on a plot of 1957 sq.m. very close to the sea. The composition is inspired by the stage of transformation of the chrysalis into a butterfly, whose wings extend diagonally radially from the residences to the outdoor space. The privacy mentioned last is achieved mainly thanks to the curvature of the "wings" in the middle of the construction. Transparency is another important characteristic of the composition. In this context, U-glass has been used extensively, replacing or camouflaging the walls, thus allowing the maximum possible natural light to pass through. At the same time, U-glass filters and distorts movement, adding a new dimension to the space and its perception by passers-by. Contrasting and complementary textures are used to enhance user interaction with the construction. In particular, the glossy surface of the u-glass is combined with the rough matte surface of the white cement mortar of the walls, floors, and ceilings. Additionally, rocks are placed at various points in the residences to add to the earthy element. It is worth noting that the larger rocks, in addition to being decorative, are used to sometimes hide static elements and sometimes for users to store the sliding glass panels, thus leaving only the aesthetically necessary visible. Finally, the outdoor space of the residences has been specially designed to highlight the concept. Artificial lakes and pools reflect the organic shape of the butterfly, u-glasses and lush vegetation, thus creating the feeling of serenity and a desire for seclusion and contemplation. Floating walkways pass over the ponds and vegetation to connect the ground floor terraces, thus offering an alternative, closer to nature and route. Price: €6.750.000.
