To the north of Kythnos is the settlement of Loutra. A developing settlement with a picturesque harbor, with a marina where private boats and sailboats moor. The area has excellent thermal springs and in the village there are marble baths designed by the famous German architect Ernesto Ziller. The area, therefore, also has thermal tourism. On the border of the settlement of Loutra, at a distance of 300m from the settlement and 600m from the bay of Loutra (3 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot), are the two adjacent plots of land measuring 29,440.00 sq m and 29,516.80 sq m respectively (total 58,956.80 sq m). They are located on the slope of a mountain, with a slope of approximately 25% on the upper area and almost level on the lower area, and have a view of the settlement and the bay of Loutra. Naturally, there is also an unlimited view of the sea. The plots face a pre-existing road dating back to 1923, for over 500m in length. Therefore, they can be divided and there is already a preliminary subdivision plan that provides for 14 even and buildable plots (7 on each plot). On each of the 14 even and buildable plots, 150sq m. of housing or 1,500sq m. if it is a hotel is allowed to be built. There are also several old traditional stone-built buildings (cowsheds or cells as the locals call them) that can be utilized, with appropriate modifications, without being counted in the building factor. Also, for one of the 14 planned plots (as shown in the topography) a request has already been submitted to RAE for the installation of photovoltaics. At the boundaries of the lower plot there is already electricity and water supplies and telephone lines. Price 1,200,000 euros. Serious offers welcome.
