Πλέον το Καβούρι δεν αποτελεί μόνο παραθεριστικό προορισμό, αλλά ένα μέρος να ζεις όλο τον χρόνο, ενώ έχει και δύο από τις λίγες ελεύθερες παραλίες κοντά στην Αθήνα, με μικρό κομμάτι τους για ξαπλώστρες.  Το Καβούρι ανήκει στις πέντε ακριβότερες περιοχές της Αθήνας και της Ελλάδας συνολικότερα.
