Let’s Get Acquainted My name is Dimitris Zamanis, and I am a real estate agent in Athens. My job is to tell the truth and deliver results. For me, every client is a partner, and every partnership is built on transparency, honesty, and personal care. Do you want to sell or rent your property? Are you looking for a place to buy or lease? Here, you will find a partner who will personally take care of your case. Science and Experience Combined Negotiation is not a “gift you’re born with,” as I often say. It is both a science and an art. That is what I studied, and that is what I apply. With two postgraduate degrees from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and many years of experience in the real estate market, I know how to handle difficult and demanding cases. Most deals fail because negotiations break down. I strive to act methodically, strategically, and always with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome. Accurate Property Valuations Valuation is a science—not “guesswork accounting.” Every appraisal I make is based on data, analysis, and comparison with the market. This way, you know the real value of your property from the very beginning—without exaggerations or false promises. My Philosophy and Values I chose the real estate profession because I love it—not because I lacked other options. For me, real estate is not just a job; it is a way of life. At the same time, my professional involvement with marketing, advertising, and new technologies at demanding levels helps me stay true to my principles without compromising my integrity. Beyond the profession, I am a man of faith, who believes in the metaphysical dimension of life and in the principle of reciprocal justice—what we often call karma. That is why I distance myself from any situation involving injustice, deceit, or harm to anyone. I believe that whatever you give, comes back to you. For this reason, every collaboration of mine is based on respect, ethics, and pure intentions. For me, success has no value unless it is accompanied by justice, respect, and humanity. The Challenges of the Profession Most people talk about their “successes.” I will talk about the difficulties. Real estate is not just appointments in beautiful apartments and luxury homes. It also means visits to properties under difficult or even dangerous conditions: buildings with collapsing roofs, listed properties filled with garbage and debris, spaces occupied by the homeless or anarchists. There are times when I need to enter environments most people would avoid, just to give the owner or the interested party a clear picture: the true condition and value of the property. And while the joy of a successful deal is great, it lasts only briefly—because immediately after comes the thought of the next challenge. This is what makes my job tough. But also real. Respect Without Discrimination In my work, I make no distinctions. All clients—whether they own a small apartment or a multi-million property—are treated with the same respect, confidentiality, and discretion. I have worked with owners of high-value properties, but millions neither impress nor intimidate me. My role, however important, remains essentially procedural: to complete the process in the right and fair way. What matters is not the value of the property, but the value of the trust each person places in me. The Person Behind the Professional Yes, I have university studies and many years of professional experience. But in everyday life, I am simple: I enjoy walks with my dog, playing the guitar, reading books, and spending time with friends in the neighborhoods of Athens. Perhaps this is my difference: I do not see properties only as numbers, but as an important part of people’s lives. If you are looking for a partner who tells the truth, knows how to negotiate, and achieves the best for you, get in touch with me.
