Nea Makri is a cosmopolitan seaside town of the Municipality of Marathon (the historic town), 40 km away from Athens. only 20 minutes away from the International Airport and only 10 minutes from the port of Rafina, which connects the Greek capital with the cosmopolitan islands of the Aegean sea (e.g. Myconos etc). Nea Makri has one of the most impressive, both in beauty and in size, shorelines of the country with a total length of 38 km!
