At 300m altitude inside the village of Agios Stefanos, fully furnished, autonomous heating- woodstove and fireplace, view at the mountains and the sea, recently renovated with respect to the traditional architecture of the region. Perfect for time off and relaxation all year round. ESPECIALLY SUITABLE to people that have the option to work remotely. It contains a large bedroom with two beds (queen bed and single bed) on the groundfloor. On the first floor, there's the living room, kitchen and bathroom and on the second floor a single bed and the roofed terrace, with a table and chaise long chairs. The house is located 6km away from the sea (car required). The village of Agios Stefanos is 1.5 hours away from Herakleion airport and 35 minutes away from Sitia airport. It is just 300m above the sea-village of Makry Gyalos and welcomes permanent residents from all over the world as well as friendly locals (about 250 people in total). At the central square of the village one can enjoy food, coffee or raki under the shadow of a big plane tree. Rental price is 350€/PER MONTH.
