Trilocale piano terra, Kritsa, Agios Nikolaos

A ground floor apartment on the lower side of the village of Kritsa. The apartment has good road access and is only a short walk to the center of the village and to several shops, cafes, restaurants offered in the village. The apartment consists of a good sized living room/kitchen/dining room with a working fireplace and a fitted kitchen. This room gives access to a large balcony which has very nice views of the Kritsa valley. A small corridor gives access to the comfortable shower room and to the two bedrooms (both with fitted wardrobes) one single bedroom and a double bedroom with access to the spacious back balcony. There is a small shed on this balcony in which there is the boiler room (petrol) for the central heating system. Above the apartment there is only one more floor consisting of an unfinished apartment of the same size. Kritsa is one of the oldest, largest and most picturesque villages in Crete. It’s built on a hill and surrounded by olive trees and beautiful countryside. The village of Kritsa is part of the municipality of Agios Nikolaos, 10 km away, and has about 2300 inhabitants including a few residents from Britain and other European countries. Kritsa is a bustling village with a great sense of tradition and a warm welcome for all visitors and foreign residents. Most amenities are on hand in the village including supermarkets, post office, newsagents etc. Keeping livestock and farming plots of land and olive groves is still the way of life for most of the residents.
