2km from the sea. Areti is a village in Ilia. Administratively it belongs to the Lechena Municipal Unit of the capital city of Andravida-Kyllini in the Region of Western Greece. It borders the villages of Kourtesi, Ano Kourtesi, Qatarachi and Lechena. In the northwest it is wet by the Ionian Sea and the Kotchio Lagoon. Areti crosses Highway 9 or EO. Patras-Pyrgos. The old name of the village was Retouni and in 1959 it changed to Areti.
