The house is unavailable from mid July to the end of August. The minimum stay is four months. This serene, spacious home is particularly suited for a family. The recently renovated house has high ceilings, two bedrooms, an additional bedroom/office/exercise room, two toilets, a bright bathroom, a spacious living room with modern open kitchen, a garden, and an easily accessible roof terrace with panoramic sea views on the harbor of Syros and the islands of Mykonos, Naxos and Paros. The house has two levels, which are connected via outdoor stairs (within the property). The groundfloor is at street-level and consists of a bedroom/office/exercise room, a toilet and sink. The first floor is the main living area and opens onto the garden on the backside of the house and on a balcony on the streetside. This part of the house has a spacious central hallway with two bedrooms. The bedrooms give onto the balcony from where you oversee the street, the Agios Nikolaos church, and parts of the sea and harbor. The first bedroom has a queensize bed (160x200cm), and the second bedroom has a triple bunkbed (90x200cm each) and a long desk that accommodates three persons. Both bedrooms have very large fitted wardrobes, ceiling ventilators and airconditioning for cooling and heating. The bright bathroom has a toilet, shower, sink, and washing machine (no dryer). The spacious living room has a large, comfortable corner sofa, two arm chairs, and a rectangular dining table that fits five people. The open, modern kitchen, overlooking the backyard, has a dish washer, induction stove, water filter and espresso machine. The backyard has a dining area protected from the sun and a Mediterranean style garden. Easy stairs lead to the large roof terrace with sitting area and panoramic sea views. Asteria beach, Agios Nikolaos church, and the central Miaouli square are a 5-minute walk away. Parking your car requires a 3-5 minute walk, as the house is in a quiet pedestrianized area. Ferry connections to Athens (Piraeus) take 3 hours and 45 minutes, with additional faster connections between April and October. There are regular airline connections between Syros and Athens (25 minutes), and good international airline connections via Athens and (in Spring-Summer) via Mykonos.
