(link can be provided if asked). Now due to health issues we decided to turn to long turns (minimum 3 months)
This 1st floor flat is situated in a quiet and absolutely safe residential area near the historical centre and two minutes walk from Tavros-E.Venizelou metro station (green line)-just two stops from Thision station (to visit Acropolis monument).
It is a spacious flat of 110 square meters (two bedrooms with real double beds, a living/dinning- room, an entrance hall, a big fully equipped kitchen/dinning room and a bathroom).
With its tall ceilings,top quality mosaic floors, long marble kitchen sink etc this recently renovated flat is a perfect example of a middle-class Athenian home of the late 50`s. The trip to the "old Athens" is completed with expensive antiques and handmade nomad carpets combined with vivid colours and fabrics in the most unique eclectic style.
One of the bedrooms and the living-room overlook a tree-lined street and a small park, while the other bedroom has access to a big patio - a small oasis in bustling Athens - surrounded by the neighbouring gardens filled with various trees including a huge lemon tree with its fruit hanging in front of you!! (photos speak for themselves).

LOCATION AND GETTING AROUND
A peaceful and absolutely safe area mostly inhabited by families who have lived there for many decades. The small street where the flat stands is tree-lined and very well lit leading to the Tavros-E.Venizelou metro station (two minutes walk).
The sorrounding area can prove to be ideal for visitiors who are interested in the local life away from any tourists. In a radius of 300-400 meters there are various shops for your everyday needs including 5 supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, grocery and butcher shops and many (some of them excellent) tavernas. Apart from that, Kallithea district is close enough (Kalithea metro station is just 4-5min walk from the flat) which is one of the biggest commercial districts of Central Athens (unknown to tourists) with a charming “old time” park (for the Athenian standards), an OLD TRADITIONAL FOOD MARKET (one of the two still existing in the city) with small shops selling fish, meat, dairy products, vegetable, herbs/spices, traditional sweets, honey etc.. In the centre of Kallithea there is a big square with all the necessary cafés/bars/eateries and busy streets dense with shops selling clothes, shoes, electronic and household goods.
